Tonight, the Japanese Film Festival Zipangu Fest opens in London.
All this weekend, from 14th-16th September 2012, the Festival is presenting a range of fantastic and little-known Japanese films which are being screened at London’s Cinema Museum in Kennington.
I’ll be there tomorrow to review the documentary ‘Lonely Swallows: Living as Children of Migrant Workers‘, which sheds light on the little known issues facing the Japanese-Brazilian community in Japan.
There’s a whole host of other films being shown over the next few days. Check out the Festival programme for a full list: http://zipangufest.com/films/2012
